Library Media Center Supplies Needed, FAQs, and Wish List
What supplies does my child need? Students need an ID badge and lanyard or string. The badge is used in checking out books and to gain permission to use the computers. The child is given the first badge at no charge and may purchase a lanyard for $1. Replacements badges may be purchased at a cost of $5.
Library Media Center Wish List
- Solo Cone Cups (or an equivalent cone shaped cup) for students to use at the water cooler.
- Supplies for the hot drink dispenser such as cups for hot liquids (10 or 12 oz), sugar, creamer, stir sticks and plastic spoons.
- Paper towels and tissues
- Electric pencil sharpener
- School supplies for students to use in the library such as pencils, coloring pencils, glue sticks, and pens.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Honor My Child program? This is an opportunity to honor your child, niece, nephew, grandchild, or young friend by donating a book to the Bellevue Middle School Library in the child's name. If you prefer that we select the book or item, you may bring or send the money into the school and designate it is to go toward a library purchase. We will contact you once the book or item has been purchased.
Do you take donated books?
YES! We will take donated books in good condition for all reading levels. If we do not use the book in the library, we will offer it to one of the teachers so it can be added to their classroom collection. The books for very young readers are used by our students to read to younger siblings. If it is a book for adults, we share with the teachers.
