Our School

Bellevue School has been in many different forms since its inception in 1960. At first, Bellevue was a high school serving the students in West Nashville. As a high school it had large community support and was a source of pride throughout the region.

In 1981, the school became a junior high school, serving only grades 7 and 8. The school colors and mascot remained tying the past to the present and keeping a sense of community within the school.

At the beginning of the 1999-2000 school year grades 5 and 6 were added bringing the school to its current configuration of 5 th through 8 th grades. The school currently serves the west Nashville communities of Bellevue and West Meade as well as a portion of north Nashville.
